Wait... ah. This is the same penny pinching kid that wants to sell his 8 because of the gas mileage, and now you're modding it with "money you saved up."

 

He might regret selling it, so he decided to just keep it instead and start modding it.

 

Wheels. Wheels can offer improved performance if you go with something lighter than stock. Also, I think wheels are a better appearance mod than the hood.

If I remember correctly, some of the higher quality aftermarket hoods can still have some alignment issues, so I'd only imagine a cheaper hood could be worse.

 

I recently sold my drum set, and got around 600$ for it, and my birthday is coming up here soon, So I'm looking to combine my money and get something nice for my car.

I realized I love the car and it's worth paying the gas to keep it.

I also think you shouldn't get the hood. 8 Maniac made a great point. Go for the wheels.

Lastly, the dollar sign goes before the number. It helps with the credibility thing, since it seems you'll be staying with us for a while...

Back in the day I picked up an Octane hood, fitment was pretty off..hence the price it sells for i think
