New Shinka at the DC Auto Show
Snapped a couple of pictures of the new Shinka and the Mazdaspeed 6 at the DC autoshow, thought I'd share.
Also saw this monstrocity:
Finally...the only other engine I'd consider putting into my 7:

Damn when were you there? I have some pics in the RX8 Gallery Section of when I went yesterday. I wish I would have went when you did. I hardly see any people there. Look at my pics, there are thousands of people in there. It sucked because of all the people.

I was there on Saturday. Earlier in the day, things weren't too bad, but when we managed to squeeze out the exit around 2:00 pm or so, it was packed and the line to get in was crazy.
The Mazda/Ford was the last place we visited and it was just too crowded to get a good look at anything. Just one thought, I liked the black cherry shinka better than this color. The black cherry seemed a little more expensive and exclusive. This color kinda looked "common." They had it tagged as a 2007. Is there no 2006 Shinka? (sorry, i know the answer is posted in a thousand different places here). The 8 was a hot display at the show when I was there. the 3 and the mx 5 were not even being looked at, but the 8 was covered up!!

what is the big deal about the CX-7?
im serious when i ask...i heard tons of radio commercials before and during the L.A. auto show and they always mentioned it as some sort of show highlight.
it just looks like a minivan/SUV to me.

I found out from my dealer that unlike the '05 Shinka.....The new one will be a package deal...not just limited to one color...4 Colors if I recall correctly....White, Copper Red, Black....and I think Titanium (not sure on the last one). The Black Cherry will be out of production for now.....but I guess Mazda loves to produced special editions...so I'll bet it'll be back before there's a new body on the 8.
It's still in the top 5 cars you can buy in the US.
