Wow!! Finally, my $32K car is not going to squeak at red lights and stop signs anymore. I hope this replacement works better than the first one.

How long ago? If it was more than 2 weeks, you may not have gotten the new pads. Maybe it's the rotors, not the pads? I can't wait for the day that Mazda tries to sell me brake work out of warranty..."You want to charge me for rotors that rust and pads that squeal?"

old rotor ..... thanks for that post. I complained about my SQUEALING brakes last time I was at the dealership, but got no fix, was told my brakes looked great. Just made a call to them and informed them of the TSB and they've got a "brake kit" ordered for me. I'll get the updated stuff too. Thanks again.

Glad too help! Let us know how it goes. How many miles on yours and are you ever hard on them? I'm not real hard on mine and I get a little squeal but not bad.

I had my brakes done on my 05 and they not only don't squeal anymore they also don't blacken my wheels much anymore. It's the way it should have been from the beginning. I'm very satisfied.
Paul.

Why? It’s not his fault you didn't make a coherent sentence.

I hope I can say the same thing after I get this done. This will be the fourth time I will have gone into the dealership to get this **** fixed. It's getting a little frustrating and makes me want to throw my car off a bridge (it's not THAT serious). But seriously, I hope this does the trick.

I had the first brake TSB done, stopped the squealing and some dust. Of course, I reecently put carbotech bobcat pads on it. Now they scream like a banshee on the street and coat my wheels with dust in less than a week. I love em Stops like throwing TWO anchors out the window.

I'm taking my 8 in on Monday for an oil change, the break noise, and tire rotation.

I hope they don't have to keep my 8 for the break stuff...I won't be a happy camper!!!

I am more than pleasantly surprised at how little brake dust there is from my stock '05 Shinka brakes (March 29, 2005 build). No squeal either.

Far more dust from my daughter's '02 Mazda6.

But then, I also use a lot of engine compression to slow.

I can't seem to open the service bulletin. Can someone tell me what it says?

Also, if the new pads produce less dust, I wonder if they stop the car as well... any comments from those who have them?

ok, Im going to call my dealership tomorrow and ask them to get the parts ready by tuesday so I can bring my 8 in !

Well, I asked them to replace my brake around a month ago. Cuz it squeak like hell. Yes, its gone for most part now. but still Squeak once in a while.

I hope this "Second fix" will fix everything once and for all
