New RX8's..

Hey guys,

Newbie at RX8's I just started employment with a company that has good discounts @ all Ford divisions.

Has anything been changed in the new RX8's compared to 2005's (or above)? Is there a new engine coming out?

I'd appreciate someone posting a thread detailing it, or if they'd be nice enough, to detail it for me. Just wondering if I buy used, or new.

Thanks :D

Also, does the 04 or 05 come with keyless starting?

No keyless starting in '04 or '05. Except for tiny changes (i.e. washer fluid tank going from black to clear, addition of a "SAT" button for SIRIUS radio, etc.), the car hasn't changed much since it came out. (Except in the AT model; not sure what change that was.) Like with most cars, the first year of production ('04) had teething problems, which have been addressed in later models.

New engine, new RX-8 supposedly coming in 2010, I think.

Keyless started with the 06 models, only on the GT models. Aside from some color changes the cars are the same.

Thanks for the info guys.

Also, perhaps a stupid question, but I was wondering if it's possible to add the wireless start (aftermarket?) to the car. I don't see many used 2006's around, and no need to buy new if nothing really changed..
