new rx8

iam about to get a 04 rx-8 does that come with HID'S 9000k rpm lsd 238hp.
is there anything wrong with the rx-8? what should i be looking out for? thanks

The HP on the 8 is over stated in the 2004 as you may know. But you are correct 9K rpm and 238 HP is about right. The only issue I have with my 8 is that the hubs rust and you can see it. You need to paint them in order to fix it, but it’s only a temporary fix eventually you will need to do it again. The 8 consumes oil, I have to put in about 1 qt every 500 miles or so. Low end torque sucks but high end power is plenty. It’s not the fastest on the street, 0-60 in maybe 6 sec. depends on your driving skills. But the handling is unmatched. I recommend you get it. I had a Camaro Z28 before, I loved it but my 8 is much more fun to drive.

if you are burning a qt every 500 miles you have bigger problems than the guy that started this thread..

Dude you watched way too much GI Joe growing up. You definitely have problems if your adding 1 quart every 500 miles.
