So feel like I should intoduce myself properly. i have few posts already asking a few prepurchase questions, but I have now bit the bullet and purchase a 2007 Rx-8 GS (Canadian model, i think it is similar to the touring). I traded in my 2009 WRX, so I went from a turbo flat four to a rotary. Was expecting to miss the torque of the WRX but the Rx-8 still pulls very well, more than enough for daily driving. Bought it in Edmonton and drove it back to Saskatoon and got about 21 mpg US going about 120km (74mph) which isn't as good as the WRX on the highway but not bad, also on winters which usally make the mpgs worse. Bought the GS due to the fact I didn't want the sunroof of the GT because I need the extra headroom for a helmet when I auto-x. Really can't wait till summer so can really drive it like it suppose to driven. Also love the reving to 9500 rpm, its addictive
