New owner of RX8 and have a few questions!

I just bought my Titanium Grey GT 8 last month and I have a few questions that I hope you all could answer.

First off what is the Octane gas that you reccomend for the vehicle? I have been using 91 but the gas mileage is incredibly low 13.1 city 16 hwy.

Second off is there a way to get the blue lighting to stay on while driving or is this just a pre-ignition setting?

Third is the speed edition of the 8 giong to also be an after factory mod that you can put into your current RX?

Thanks for any help and thanks for all the information I have already learned on this board keep the info flowing.

First, 93 is recommended. You can get away with lower, but 93 is the recommended octane. Search here for this, lots of threads that relate.

Second, no. It's only pre-ignition. Good question though, I don't remember that one being asked before...

Third, MazdaSpeed? They're doing after factory add-on's so far. They're working on the "Mazdaspeed RX-8", which will have the whole ball of wax, and will be out in a year or so. No turbo yet. No turbo from anybody yet, unless I've not been paying enough attention lately.
