Cool New owner intorductions

Did a search and couldn't find one. I just purchased a 2011 mt rx8, Im already in love seriously best all around vehicle I've ever had the pleasure of owning. I did some research on here before I pulled the trigger on the deal. Went for brand new for fear of one that was abused and had issues. Being a lifelong gearhead im definitely up for the different form of upkeep. That's the important part....its not more maintenance its just being a rotary engine requires different forms than what most are used to. Im still discovering more and more amazing pieces of engineering prowess in this thing. Being a machinist by trade I appreciate all the little details that make the total package. I can't wait until im through the breakin period so I can really drive it. Having owned several performance cars prior two camaros a mustang and a srt neon (still own the 91 camaro) the whole togetherness of the rx8 is amazing. I've still got tons of reading to do on here (lots of great info) and hope that by the time my extended warranty is out there will be a tuning solution for it. But for now im learning the stock capabilities of this car, it handles like nothing I've ever owned its definitely a whole different world. Any die hard musclecar guys (as i was) reading this possibly thinking of a purchase but reserved about the tq ratings fear not this car still provides tons of fun (nonstop grin on my face for the 200mi drive home had to travel rx8s are rare around here) As a matter of fact I find I have a bit to learn about a car that is as glued to the road as this is the cars capabilities for handling exceed my ability to pilot it. Seriously can't say enough (sorry if im rambling) will post pics later and I can't wait to get to know more about this amazing machine and the community that follows it.

Welcome to the club. With a series 2 the maintenance is far less than early model years. Keep an eye on oil and that's about it.

Leviallen - what's the asking price? An 11 R3 with low miles I'm guessing around 24-25k.

Paid just over 26k for it. still only has 270 miles on it.....that wont last long

I can add more purchase info when i get home might scan the window sticker and show paperwork of final purchase price (personal info edited out of course) let me know if you guys want all the poop sheets for it. Although I'm sure most of you know more about these cars and pricing than I do. Hell I may have been ripped off but i doubt it was by much I dont even care if I was cant put price on love.

There was a video link, and everything.

I just bought a 04 with 32500 miles. went to mazda and and got a vehicle history report. and at 32250 miles it had a new motor, reflash and basically all the other recall and o4 stuff that needed to be done to it. This is my first 8 and Ive owned a couple of 7's. I really really love my 8. Check out my profile to see a pic.
