Hey all, I've been trolling here for awhile just reading about the Rx-8, trying to decide whether to get one. Decided it was for me so I picked up this 2005 GT 6-speed last month. Its been a blast, definitely happy with the buy.
Its only about a 10-15 mins drive to work for me, and I'm realizing that there's just not enough twisties on the way for this car, so I'm going to have to find a new way to work.



Of course everyday I dream of turboing it, but that'll be a hard one to convince the wife of. Used to have a 1g eclipse GSt and a 91 Impulse RS (Still regret selling that) so I'm really missing having a turbo around.

tire question: I got this car and it has 245/45/18 radar dimax tires. one, has anyone ever heard of these tires? two, is that the wrong size? I tried searching and it looks like wider tires on this car should be 245/40s

I just put new tires on mine and I got 245/40/18. That's what most people go with when they replace the stock tires on the stock wheels.
