hey everyone. Im a proud new owner of a titanium gray 2004 mazda rx8 with the touring package. Im a long time member of mx6.com and just letting go of my 89 mx6 turbo. I have a couple of questions that maybe someone can answer for me.
1. I was wonder if the mazda 6 or 3 17" rims will fit on my rx8? Reason im wondering is for the use for winter rims for cheaper snow tires. I know the bolt pattern is the same and i heard the offset is also. I just want to make sure it will clear the caliper before i buy them.
2. I have a check engien light for the secondary air injection system which i reset as im trying to get it to pass inspection. I drove the car 80 miles without the light coming back on but i cant seem to get the monitors to reset. Is there a certain drive cycle the rx8 has to go through to reset these? The monitors not reasy are a/c refrigerant, heated catalyst and egr system.
Thanks for taking the time to read and im happy to be a member of this forum.

ok, i did a little searching myself and it seems that the 17 inch mazda 3 rims will fit. Tire size 215/55/17 for snows. Thats alot better than buying the 18 inch snows.
