New member, but not new to rotary
 

Hello, my name is Jeff. As the title states, I'm new to this site but I also own 2 second gen RX7s and will be the proud owner of a 2004 Nordic Green RX8. I'm a 36-year auto repair technician currently working at an independent shop in central Oklahoma. I have worked on most makes and models of cars and trucks since 1976 and started working on rotary-powered vehicles in 1982. I'm known as "scrip7" on the RX7Club forum. I'm looking forward to reading and posting here often!

Where is your shop at?? I live in Moore & may (hopefully not lol) need someone to work on my car in the future, I haven't heard of any mechanics that advertise being able to work on rotary engines in my area. Granted, I haven't really looked, but I just took my car to the dealer because they always were the one that did any work on it for the previous owner.

Nordic Green is by far the fastest color... Good to have a few more around....

I'm in Edmond. East of Kelley between 15th and 33rd. I do full service rotary including rebuilds. Pm me if interested and I'll give you the shop info.

No, I don't think so. I just got my car last Monday. :) I started researching on this forum when my Mazda3 was totaled & I needed another car, I really wanted an rx8 & just wanted to make sure that it wouldn't be too much trouble.

I asked if you knew Nolan because I noticed he was in ur friends list (linuxadickt). He started a group on Facebook called "Oklahoma Rotary Enthusiasts" so check it out. We had our first Rotary BBQ last month at my shop. What a blast! So I guess this is ur official invite lol.

Oh, yeah, he was inviting me to join the Facebook group, when I spoke up in the OKC Metro thread here lol.

We finally got the car in and now its being Stripped for parts and then put back to stock by jeff after we get her all prettied up we'll post lots of before & after pics Lol. We saved Nordi's life (on the fly naming, like that Jeff? lol).
