This is probably a total noob question..but I just got an auto 8 because my wife can't drive stick and i'm immediately hating the 16" that came with it and thinking of going up to 18". Can you guys give me a brief overview of what I need to do this, apart from new rims and new tires and the sizings. Anything else that needs to be purchased apart from those things?

Congrats on the new car. I saw the same thread in the wheels/tire section so I'll let you get your answer to your wheel questions there. Throw up some pics when ya can of your 8.

FWIW, I think the auto RX-8 will accelerate a bit slower with the 18's.

You should have teach your wife to drive a manual before you bought the 8. It's more adventurous and fun driving a manual. Anyway, congrats on choosing the 8 and post pics of the ride.
