New here!!

Hi!!

My name is Amanda, I am from canda. Hello to everyone here

I am going to get a RX-8 GT winning blue in 2 weeks. Then I would like to get some parts for my new car.

I would like to get a :

1. new cat back exhaust
2. Bodykit ( I only want polyurethane kit)
3. CAI
4. Spoiler

I think that's all

Well, I dont really know which aftermarket parts are good, I am thinking of getting the Greddy SP2 cat back but I wanna something louder than the Greddy, and as for bodykit, I only wanna go with urethane cuz I really dont like Fiber glass.... and maybe K&N CAI? I think I would get the rotora CF wing.

But like I said, I am not sure if those upgrades are good, any suggestions?

Thanks! I will take some pics after I get my car. I see there are a lot of winning blue rx-8 on this site! hello again to you all!

Hi Amanda
welcome to the forum/club.....I am excited for you...getting a new 8 and modding it is a blast...

I have the following:

1. Borla catback - i like it better than greddy because the sound is not so high pitched
2. Racing Beat Revi CAI
3. Factory appearance pkg - front splash guards, side and rear aero flares
4. Mazdaspeed style carbon fiber wing....but OEM is nice too
5. Clear Corners and Fender strakes are a must

just to start of course....LOL
great to see another woman on the forum
Pat

PS...check my sig for pic and other mods

I just got a Mazdaspeed dual muffler cat-back installed on Friday. So far I'm really enjoying it.

Welcome!

If you want louder add a high flow cat or mid-pipe to your exhaust.

Mazdaspeed, Mazdaspeed-replica, Tsunami or apperance package would be your choices for a urethane bodykit.

Be sure to post in the lounge and check in the aftermarket parts forum for exahust/intake and other performance mods. See the exterior/bodykit forum for your bodykit questions.

I love how when a girl asks questions without searching we are all sympathetic and try to help, but when a new guy comes on here, we rip him a new one

welcome to the club Amanda! being here you're going to get the MOD bug

Kinda weird that the other "new here" thread, currently active, hasn't recieved anywhere near the number of responses that this one has....
