Talking New Guy, New Rx-8

Hi I recently just bought this 04 winning blue rx-8 with 40K miles on it. I am pretty new in the forums, I hope to know about the car and the rotary a lot more than I know so feel free to share any thoughts...

Welcome Everyone!!!

read up the forums remember to let it warm up early in the morning and don't turn it off unless its warmed up cuz it might flood call the dealer and ask if there's any recalls needing to be done

welcome to the family enjoy:p

welcome to the club. Enjoy it. Anything you need you can find on here. You've already read the most important thread.

Word to the wise (as if you didn't know already). ALWAYS search and search and search until you are SURE no one has talked about what you want to talk about before. It's not fun getting ripped on here, but it happens to all of us.

Also, if you don't mind, what did you get the car for, price wise? And plan on doing any mods?

I was wondering if I am going to be able to have the extended 100.000mile warranty in my car or not. Can someone help me with that? And also, did i do a good thing by buying a 04 rx-8 or should i have thrown couple of g's and got a 05 instead. I just found the mileage on this car pretty decent for the price i got it for.

You have the warranty automatically, it comes with the 8. Just take care of your 04, and you will most likely be alright. Or you could end up like me ha. Just take care of it.

If you bought the car, the paperwork should be under your name. Do you mean for warranty purposes?
