New guy..

Hey all. I am new to these cars and my wife and I have an 04 auto and an 05 six speed. From what I understand our 04 automatic car may not be worth putting a lot of money into modding because its a 4 port engine and auto.

I haven't had a lot of luck here with search on how to figure out if the 05 has the 6 port engine. Can you tell me how to determine what engine it has?

in US manuals are all 6 ports.

and if the red line starts at 9000rpm, then you have a 6 port

Ok cool. It does start at 9k. I don't expect much from the auto car other than maybe to remove some of the sluggishness if that's even possible.

BHR's (Black Halo Racing) Nitrous Kit will quickly solve that problem for about $1500 or so.

Cool, I was considering that. I was hoping the usual bolt on stuff like intake and exhaust and maybe pulleys would make the auto a little more responsive in daily driving.
