change of story from the techs

the tech i orignally talked to told me the wrong thing, the service manager says it is the timing shield dampner came apart from around the front timing chain and i am still not sure how the metal got in the engine, but i will hopefully get to see what happened when the new engine comes in some time in the next 3 weeks. hopefully i will be able to find out exactly what happened and can take some pictures of what it actually looks like.

bold added by me- at least it was only the one on the front timing chain. it would be horribly messy if the front and the REAR went at the same time. ive seen it happen and it still creeps me out just mentioning it.
