Talking New 8 owner!!!

Hi all,
Bought my 8 at the end of January, and loving it. Nordic Green / Black, 6spd, GT pkg, Continental TS790s on stock wheels.

I'm still amazed at how you can get so much fun, in a classy looking package, for so little (relative) cost. Now all I have to do is move farther away from work...

Congrats, wintergrn.
I haven't moved farther from work, but I do take the long way home now.

Thanks for the friendly welcomes. It's been interesting switching to a RWD performance car in the middle of winter. I have a very good idea now about the utility of limited-slip, traction control and DSC, I'll tell you.

The weather hasn't got in the way of driving, but proper car washing has been a challenge. In lieu of any big pretty pictures, here's a scene from an unseasonably warm (40s) February afternoon. If you start with a really warm bucket of suds, you can pretty much still feel your fingers when you're done.

G-ReX, what's funny is that I didn't even notice the picture being taken... Her word for "dedication" was pronounced more like "obsession" though.

RPRLA, see you around town! I was following another 8 down South 28 last weekend and exchanged a nice "Jeep CJ" kind of wave as our paths diverged. Good to be in the company of enthusiasts.
