Need opinion: Painting rear bumper
Thought I'd ask for some opinions on this: I am thinking of painting the plastic piece on the bottom of the rear bumper black. It's already black plastic, I think it may look good painted black.
What do you guys think?

Do we share brain waves across the Pacific? I am thinking exactly the same thing...:
I am having 2 concerns:
1. The plastic finish has to go and need to smooth it out to get similar look as the upper part.
2. The mesh thing on both side the rotary sign needs some consideration. I am not sure it will look 100% perfect if just painting it. What if leaving that alone and painting all around them?

I was actually thinking about using a dremel to rout out the fake mesh to make it into a real mesh. This might be too much work and the material might be too thin to tolerate being swiss cheesed. Alternatively, there are some nice honeycomb materials available in black powder coat. Just cut out the entire mesh area. Would make it into a real rear diffuser.

that would look alot better if you have "covered" the front one, ie. factory lower spolier or a full replacement front bar
thats easy, most panel/body shop would be able to perform that, just make sure they use plastic primer
NOJOOC,
might as well colour code the lower section and cut the factory meshed area out and replace it with "real" blk mesh
