Need New Lugnuts - can I buy loal or do i need them from mazda?
Hello,
I am in need to replace my lugnuts -- nothing is wrong with them at the moment but they are getting word and slightly stripped. Ive seen lug packages at Autozone but fear their quality.
Another question is where and what "size" do I need to get (assuming i dont get them at mazda)
Would the lugs from say AutoZone be compatible with the tire iron in the trunk of our cars?
Thanks!
Jeff

You have to buy them at a Mazda dealership. They cost like $6.00 a pop. It might have been $3.00.
I lost one before, but it was a long time ago. I went to a couple of auto part stores and asked for lugnuts for my car, and they told me nothing they had would be right for my car.
I went to Mazda, and they were expensive. That's all I remember.

GORILLA for about $1.00 which are fine if you don't swap your wheels out 10+ times a year like I do.

If you go looking for alternatives, the 12mm x 1.50 thread is right, but you also want to look for 60º conical taper.
Also see this thread and this one.
