I've been looking at the RX8 for a little while now but after doing some research I get very mixed views about it. I really just need to know if the car is as high maintenence as I seem to keep hearing. The MPG is not a big issue, I only drive about 10,000 miles a year and have a Jeep Cherokee now so no big deal. I am pretty mechanically inclined and do the repairs and maintence myself on my Jeep and Ninja but know nothing about a rotory engine. I found an 06 copper red Shinka for 17,000 (is that good) with 10,000 miles.I'm 6'2" and fits me great.So if there is anything you think I should know or what kind of issues that are common I would really appreciate it.

I just paid a little over 16K for an'06 with 23k miles.
