That should be enough for a nice helmet. Did you check in on your friends webcast Saturday or didn't he do one on Christmas.

Yeah, I haven't decided if i want to do a closeout SA2005 to get a nicer helmet, or get a lower end SA2010 and get more time out of it. The SA2005 will be legal for HPDE's for 5 more years, so I'll likely go that route and get something a little better. Back when I rode quads, i bought a new helmet every couple years, so 5 years out of a helmet seems like forever for me.
He did broadcast, but i didn't get to tune in. Looks like he'll do one on New Years too. I'll probably sit in on that one too. It's looking to be "Guitar Heros" night. I might take MacBook Pro over instead of my netbook this time and record the whole show.

Guitar Heroes sounds like a good theme.
I would suggest Ted Nugent. And, while he doesn't play wild, Eric Clapton could be considered one.

Hey, Al.
I ended up away from my computer dicking around in the office, so I never responded to your helmet advise. Even though I know full face isn't necessary, I'll probably go that route since most of the ones i'm looking at are lower profile. open face helmets tend to be taller and more round. I have an SA95 low profile Bell that I barely have enough head room with. I may look into the DIY for lowering the leather seat this spring for a little more room.
