I think you over estimate the amount of clout I carry around here. I have a fm converter. But, it will shutdown on quiet periods. That doesn't work well with a scanner.

My son had/has ADD and was prescribed Ritalin. I wanted to try it and I was much bigger so I took a double dose. That was a few hours that really sucked.
