Need advice - Trading AT for MT

I got over my first step of denial, and am planning on trading my AT for a MT.
I found 2 MT's I am going for. They are almost identical so I need advice on which one to go for.

The first one is a 2005 6 sp MT, nav, 2 tone leather, brilliant black, 20533 miles on it. Dealership is asking 18295 for it

The second is a 2004 6 sp MT, brilliant black, 34491 miles on it. Dealership asking 16995 for it. (basically same car except without the nav.)

I have a 2004 4pt AT Grand Touring package. Titanium silver with 25360 miles on it. I know it's hard to say without seeing the car but what do you think I'll be offered for my car as trade in price? No scratches whatsoever no problems with it. I took imaculent care of it. I know I'll probably be lowballed, just wondering what to expect on the difference. I'd like to go in with a price difference in mind on what I'll be paying.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also which model would you get 2005 or 2004?

Thank you

My advice is that - use the third pedal on the left when switching gears.

I'd go for the 2005. I think they will offer you about 12 to 12.5K for your 04.

I think I'm going to play some hardball now, with the salesman. He lowballed me last night. Over the phone said my car is worth 10 or maybe 11000. I'm going in the deal not taking a penny less than 12 for my car and going to try to slip in the 2005 for 16000ish? Is that unreasonable?

To me I live in the north so noone even drives an 8 in the dead of winter nor probably looking to buy one so you'd think he'd want to get rid of it.

You're trading in an AT sports car in the winter. All he'll get is another car sitting on the lot that no one wants. Sports car drivers don't want ATs, and it's winter. 11k isn't a lowball. Go for 11.5 or something.

Yeah, that's not a bad price for a 2004 AT...

Your car is a 04 AT, so u'll be lucky to be able to get anything more than 12K for it. if they will do it for close to 12K, you better ditch it soon.

For the other 2, get the 05, they will do it for around 16-ish.
