My RX8 days are numbered...

Decided I didn't want to keep up with the payments, the dealership owned me when I bought it..

I had an 05 auto, payments were 250ish
Then got an 06 MT GT and my payments were 595... ouch

So i parted my turbo for an incredible price and now I'm going to order an 08 tC after work today...

Just wanted to go cheap... its still a good car that I could mod (they do have tCs pushing 300whp if I wanted to go FI again).. but im going to go ICE this time.

Sucks because Rotorfest was only a few days away...

But 22000 problem free miles, and 14000 turbo problem free miles... great car, I'm going to miss taking the turns around here at 40 and not worrying a bit.

Oh, and I was only getting 14mpg on premium.. that hurt too.

Eventually I'll get back into a cheaper RX8 when I can heal my wallet a little..

but yeah, ill still be around...

I plan on keeping mine until its a heap. But the question is what shall I purchase next when this is paid off...

Curious to see what the new Mazda 6's are working with... Maybe the Hatch WRX. Not sure though. All I know is it will have 4 [traditional] doors.

you are going to hate driving that tC after the rx8.........my friend has one, and it really is just a very low end toyota.

Still, enjoy saving your money. To that extent, I am jealous (my payments are in the $500/mo. bracket too).

"as far as I know" is kind of vague. You either shipped it or not. Did you ship Pony Express?

2 weeks later to the current-- I still haven't recieved the radar, nor has he answered my additional emails. I made a paypal dispute so far.

Anyone have any problems in the past with him? Does anyone know him? I just don't want to get screwed.

Good luck, A99. I waited until my house was paid-off before I bought my '07 in March. No mortgage or rent payment makes a $500 car payment easy!

taken care of snitches. it was sitting in the ups office because of a damaged box.

i swear, conparing the Scion community to the RX8 community is like light and day. the TC people are helpful and aren't jackasses like 90% of people here are.

Deffintly glad I switched over to a forum where people have more intelligence than to reply with 'good job' all day.

anyway, the 06 key (flat one), can it be reprogrammed to another 06 car?? if so, i have one to sell... only thing left off of it. Don't they go for ~$150 from the dealer?

If the same thing happened to you and the person you bought something from wasn't returning your emails would you want the TC community to be like, "oh well, what can you do". Or would you rather have them call out the seller like we did and look out for its members?

True, I don't care, I've made tons of sales here, stuff happens, I didn't know where the package was until I talked to the manager of the UPS store, then it had to be shipped back, etc. It took more time than i figured, and more $ for shipping out of my pocket. I didn't say a word.

And, I repeat, to avoid argument... there are a good 10% of people here that were helpful when I went FI.
