I'm a member, too. Not only do I not have any major problems, my Renesis seems to be getting stronger. Just like Car and Driver's long-term RX-8. Oh, and did they premix? No, I don't believe they did. Kinda makes you think. (Wait… I just remembered where I am. Strike that last sentence.)

Leave RX8Club.com for a few moments and you'll find that the Zero Problem Club—or at least the Zero Major Problem Club—is way larger than anyone here would imagine. Contrary to RX8Club.com reality, it's the Engine Replacement Club that's hard to get into. (Though having an '04 helps. Could that have to do with it being the first year of production? Nah…)

glad to hear that! i hope threads like this and others will get people to shut up about the reliability of the engine.

30K for me and no problems so far.

the only problem i have is that i dont have a mazdaspeed intake... does that count?

Congrats, you should consider the premix (sometimes I wish I'd done it from day 1) and should check the main seal and run some compression tests as well.

Good luck and you have some serious catching up to do, I got 119k on mine..haha

Note this change..

Had IG Coils and wires changed this past weekend. Now at the doctors due to stall issues at stoping when engine reaches temp.....
