My new Blue RX8 !!! :)

Just Got my New 8 today

What a great car.. I usde to own a 84 rx7 .

The new 8 kicks ***.. So many cool features two like the Tire pressure monitering sytem. and the leveling headlights !!
BEsides that the Rotery is awsome....

My only real beef is that the front cup holders are really not usefull if you have long arms like me and ever want to shift! ..
doh..

Any one live in Ca that has been ticketed for no front plate.

I dont want to put my on becasue it will really mess up the front end look .

Congrats !

Leave that plate off. If and when you get ticketed its only a $10 fine/fee. Get the ticket signed off - then take it off again.
Thats my plan
I agree with you on the cup holders. You'll get used to it..kind of

You got the best color, too.

I don't know where you are, but if you do a search you'll find a lot of information about the laws in particular states, and the general question of whether or not to leave the front plate off. Here in Texas it's required, but I've been driving around Austin for eight-plus years without a front plate, and I've been stopped once.

and yes I have been ticked here in Califorina for no front plate. the cops here are really serious about it.. Stupid.

How do you know when your car was made? I'm picking mine up as soon as they get some stuff installed and would like to check...

I haven't tried the cup holders yet. As I recall, at least they are big enough to hold a bottle which can have a lid so if I knock it over I won't hurt my new baby.... it was love at first 'drive' for me... love this car which means little things won't bother me much.

yes its stamed as the build date on the drivers door frame. Also the Tail light should say the month and year molded in to them.

be sure to tell that dealer that you want them to make all the updates and recalls to the car before you take delivery. that will amke you life alot easyer.
