I'm 17 with a used 04 rx8 that I am still paying for. I got into a fight at school yesterday (which i didnt start), and when i got to my car in the parking lot ther was a key mark about 3 feet long starting right before the drivers door and all the way back into the suicide door. I cant even put into words how f#cking pissed I am. Its fairly deep and i think it was the guy i had problems with or one of his friends. I cant wait till i find out who did it. I'm still just in shock that someone would take anger out on someones car...

 

its highschool you know they will brag to their friends and you will find out who did it. what you do with that information is up to you

it sucks man, well report it to your school administrators and have them keep a look out for rumors, stories and what not.

Vandalism should not be tolerated and is the school's responsibility if it is in their parking lot.

 

Listen the same thing happened to me. I was in class went out to my car to grab a book and there was a huge scratch on the passenger side door. If you have a cop at school, report it to him. That's what I did. I found out who did it cause he was being stupid and bragged about it. He was asking to get caught. I pressed charges, he paid for everything, then I beat his *** 5 months later ( ). Chances are, you will never find out who did it. Girls do that. Request to park your car in the faculty lot. yah im a senior and everything and its a really big school, but I know a lot of people and i'm pretty well liked, so i think i can narrow it down to 5 bitches. The guy i fought and his friends, and if it turns out to be be the guy i fought im gonna f#ck him up real bad.

I second the above. Leave the person alone and pursue legal punishment. There is no sense in lowering yourself to their level.

however, in this case, you run the risk of him retaliating on your car AGAIN, which would suck a lot.

once you find out who it is, you could play it off like you dont know/arent going to worry about it, and in a couple months do something. that was usually my style

 

Sorry for the double post, but while "legal ramifications" would be best, theres not going to be any evidence to support such a punishment. like Crazy said, "welcome to highschool"

The police won't help if you do that. Chances are they're not even gonna care about some little scratches on your car. If you physically hit them and injure them, you are gonna be held responsible and they're not even gonna care that he scratched your car. Persue legal action, and if your still mad, let the heat cool down and fight the kid a few months later.

Yeah... knowing me in highschool (which was only a year and a half ago) I would of found out who did it, got even, then beat his ***... that's just me though. F- the legal system...

 

Knock the 'bag outta him and demand what it'll take you to fix it, and if he doesnt, give it twice as bad. Then 3 times, etc.

 

Ok here's what you gotta do. Report it to your school officals then inform the police. They'll find out who did it eventualy since well your in Highschool and sumthing like this WILL be talked about because well no offence your in Highschool and everything is about reputation (UGH!) nothing is um "cooler" than keying a guys car right?.. Well after the court case which will most likely be settled out of court, demand one full payment and not payments to be paid in 2 months time (gotta give the guy some time to save some money) if not he goes to jail for defaulting on the judgement. If your a real ******* get him fired from his job so he can't get the money saved up hahaha.. erm anyways...

The guy will pay up then wait till about graduation time then pull the pranks of all pranks on this guy, or hell just beat his *** royaly up to you.. though personaly slipping him a ruffie or some kind of sleeping pill and taking pictures of him *** exposed with the local highschool gay kid would be friggin priceless (sure its illegal also but damn its payback and it would definatly be a BITCH!).

A girl I used to date foolishly key another girls car.. she talked got arrested, and settled out of court she had to pay out around 2k. The girl whos car got key didnt kick her *** afterwards just got her fired from her job. Kinda hard to explain to a future employee why you got fired from your previous job of 2 years for keying someones car.

 

1st thing I would do is file a police report and take pic's of your car.
Then show them and tell there mom and dad what happen.
Then ask there parents kind permission to beat there ***

 

It seems like I don't even have to get in a fight to have someone do something to my car. I think its every other day that I have spit or gum or someother thing done to my car and thats where ever I park. People or just giant weiners, their jealous they don't have what you do so they do things to your car. From personal experience tell your school police officer keep it on the DL and wait for someone to open their mouth about it. The court system will screw him so much harder than you can because you can claim lost wages and all kinds of crazy stuff to pull money out of him.

 

Hum that is always why i park close to a camera whenever i get the chance to. I mean yeah you cant sometimes but when you can do it. Then you know if something happens and your in good view of the camera, then you will know who did it and see everything they do to your car. As for beating the guy up, that is just stupid to me. Yeah your pissed of but it will end up getting you in worse trouble. I say just wait until graduation and screw his car up

Yup.. as an Adult myself I would wait about 6 months to a year then do something to the person.

 

You should key his car and slash all his tires.
