My brakes got better?

This isn't a complaint really, maybe more of a pleasant surprise? I noticed when I first picked up my 8, the brakes were okay, but nothing to get excited about. But after I owned it for a while (maybe 200-300 miles?) the brakes got much stronger, almost like my tires were glueing themselves to the road. Anyone else notice this?

I would guess that bedding the pads made the difference, but it also might be that you are getting adjusted to the car and are now able to push it more comfortably than when you first started driving it.

Tires have a release compound on their outermost tread that must be present so that they pop out of the molds properly. They won't give maximum adhesion until you burn this outer layer of rubber off.

I think the brakes are pretty good, no problems except the squeaking
