Well I saw my 8 taken away on a flat bed to go to the shop yesterday. I think its just a bearing inside the tranny so it shouldn't take long but it's the first time I've seen it taken away. At least everything is under warranty that makes me feel better. I hate to see it taken away like that but in a few days (hopefull) it will be back in my hands. I figured I'd just let you guys know what was goin on.

 

It wouldn't start? Just making noise? Wouldn't go into gear? Elaborate?

 

No it started and drove fine just 1st 2nd 3rd would make a really loud rattling noise and 4th and 6th had a humming noise and reverse wouldnt stay it everytime I'd let out on the clutch it would pop out of reverse so I figured everything under warranty just sent it to Mazda to have them take a look at it but I'm pretty sure it's the bearing on the input shaft.
