Talking My 800 km report =)

I drove up to 800 km now. ( got my car for 10 days)

1. Terrible gas millage! (with DSC on for the first 500 km)
2. Never run up to 4000 rpm until 500km
3. Never exceed 110 speed
4. Trying SUNOCO 94 instead of Shell 91 with DSC off for 6 secs, gas millage improves! (that was after 600 km)
5. AT transmission, now sometimes shifting to manual mode. (but sometimes I found out the next day the engine was kind of hard to start)
6. I m still trying to figure out with the DSC off or completely off for DSC/TC off (press the DSC off for 5 secs) which one is better for the gas millage.
7. My Xeon head light kind of shines with rainbow color from my driver view at nite.
8. Still working with the dim mirror, kind of hard to notice the cops car from the mirror. (The mirror was your $ saver b4 u do some speeding)
9. hate the fog light yellow bulb.
10. Getting attention from surroundings.
11. there is not a hook or something to hang the gas cup when I do the fill up?WTF?
12. Engine was hot or so when drove only a short distances.

Why don't you just use the clip that keeps the fuel door in space when closed? Works perfect.

DSC doesn't make any difference (in this instance) - there are lots of threads where people have posted that their gas mileage improved considerably after the break-in period. You're still in break-in, and a couple of hundred kms here or there is not statistically significant to decide how your gas mileage is doing or especially (during break-in) whether the DSC is affecting your mileage!

Enjoy your car anyway!

Regards,
Gordon

i dont know why he was using 91 octane, it should be 92 or higher regardless. anything under 92 hurts the engine

good luck to you, cuz i have the same problem with gas mileage, believe me it will not change weather you're 800km or 8000km.
