First of all, let me just say that this is yet another reason why this forum is perfect. I tried sharing this story with my girlfriend and got the "deer in the headlights"/"50 meter" stare (but she listened). You all can relate and appreciate...

So I'm on my way home from work yesterday on I95 South thru Philly when I spy a beautiful new as-close-to-tigray-as-can-be M3 screaming down the hiway--I'd guess he's in the high 90s, I'm in the mid 80s . I slow down to expedite his approach, he slows down as he comes along side and we take a few turns passing the car length of each other at about 50mph, just grinnin' and admiring each others cars. There was no "let's race" posturing or anything like that, just a really friendly mutual exchange of "Nice car!"

As icing on the cake, as I'm getting off of the highway, an RX7 pulls along side at the light and we had a cool mutual adoration exchange.

Such social cars we have!

Reminds me of that commercial with the milk truck and the strawberry truck. Awww...

Seriously though, I'm not interested in those types who want to street race. They get the bye-bye wave from me every time. A lot of others out there are like those that you describe. A whole lot more are those in beaters, you know, drooling all over their shoulders and waving real hard or give the real big thumbs-up's.

Kinda like me, going by that black Lexus SC430 this morning on the way to work!! :D
