I have about an hour or so in the morning to strip parts off of a 04 rx8. What should I go for first? Any suggestions. I don't really NEED anything but I'm working on a supply of spare parts for the future.

 

Anything you see you needing the the future. I don't think anyone is going to be able to point you in the right direction on what exactly you need to grab. The only thing I could think of is small little misc items, like vacuum solenoids, fuel pump and clutch peddle

 

Headlights
Taillights
Visors
Shift ****
Head unit
Any appearance items; lip, rotor accents, spoiler.

 

Parts obtained so far from different places


I'm pretty sure the irons are toast
also have spare omp lines and injectors ,oil pump, throwout bearing, starter, coils,wires, most relays. I've been collecting for a lil while.

 

So raped that parts car got everything from head and tail lights to the omp and a BHR coil kit only like a year old. Throttle body, coolant tank, hood, clutch petal assy and master cylinder. UIM with solinoids and vac lines, brake cylinder. Fuel rail and injectors. The muffler and other odds and ends. All for 100$. And I'm going back for the main harness for another 30$. Lol nice find

Log manifold so you can cut the runners off and replicate TeamRX8's header.

 

I'm not familiar with team rx8s header.

 

I would grab more interior parts. Sun visors, seats, shift **** and boot etc. You've grabbed a good bit of parts already. Well done!

 

I agree but the interior of my car is pretty much mint.(I'll get a good pic for yas) And the seats in the parts car are that awful black and like a maroon insert 🤢. I get another chance. I just might grab anything I can fit in the xterra and try to sell some.

Went back to the green parts car and got the spoiler, fuel pump assembly, engine wire harness, ecu and starter.
