Moving on...

Wow well i never really thought i would be making one of these threads so soon...or even at all. But today i traded in the 8 for a 2006 audi a4.

Main reason being is that being in college the car became a little to impractical...all i make is short trips in the city and a was spending sooo much money on gas. i also needed a little bit more room for things.

this was a really hard decision because i was so attached to the rx8 but i felt like it was the most practical thing to for my current situation

maybe ill be back in the 8 again someday but for now it will be in my new a4...

not the best looking car right now but the parts off the 8 will give me money for parts for the audi lol

i've had a good stay here and i will most likely pop back in from time to time...

-Vance

aw good luck with the new car!

Nice choice, as this car sucks *** and kills it when you do short trips.

Good Luck! I always wanted an S4 in that body style. They can look hot. It's funny to hear RX-8 guys talk about reliability,

It's also funny to see so many haters every time someone has a "goodbye" kind of thread. While I personally wouldn't have traded my car for an a4, I can respect the guy's decision to do so. Good luck with the new car, and remember your password here when you change your mind and buy another 8 someday (it's inevitable).

Its sad to see ya go buddy, but I definitely undertand. I might be in the same boat as you sooner than later. But lets see how things pan out. But hopefully you still stay a part of the community, and post pics yada yada yada. Good luck bro.

Good luck Vance. I, unlike a lot of 8 owners here, understand your decision. Short trips in the city add up to a ridiculous amount of gas on a 1.3 engine.

Enjoy your A4. Audis are great cars, although as you probably know if you did your research, not very reliable.

Hopefully you'll be back on a rotary engine machine when MaZda gives another RX car, with hopefully better MPG's

Show one post that was a "hater" post. We were quite civil.

Good luck with the next Audi, keep posting future pics!

BTW can we retire the word "haters"?
