clear corners. Then a drop. Then MAYBE rims. On a nordic green.... I can't see rims really even doing that much. If they are just halogen headlights. Get some 8K or 10K HID's. Honestly, one of my favorite mods was those lights. Because you see them everynight, and everyone else who passes you looks twice.

spend a few hundred for maintenance.
Do you know how to drive a stick? or is it automatic? If its the former, then i'd say tint the windows first. If its the latter, leave it COMPLETELY STOCK.

Get a shittier car until you know how to drive, can become mature, and grow up. Then when you are older and wiser, get a sports car.
No matter how mature you say you are, soon as you get a friend(s) in the car, you become a weapon of mass destruction on the road.
Kids should NOT be allowed to own or ever drive sporty, fast cars. They should be required to drive a stock, 4 door sedan with a 4 cylinder engine with no more than 150hp until they are at least 20. No modifications allowed. Maybe they should all get Chevy Aveos.

OP didnt say anything about wanting to track or auto-x it... so not sure how much they want driving instruction...
Personally, I think the 8 is pretty easy to drive (unless they're 16 or never drove a car w/ any power at all)
I would check out the wheels/tires or pictures section on here and look at what others have done with drops/wheels etc and see what kind of look you like. Personally I like stock just fine, but to each his own

Not all 16 year olds are complete idiots...
Just the vast majority.
