A milestone of sorts

I am not one of these guys that gets caught up on mileage, but I thought I would share my milestone. I passed the 300 mile mark yesterday for the first time on a tank of gas. 303 miles to be exact. The tank included some commuting to San Diego (a lot of traffic) and some normal driving. Just thought I would share.

Congrats! Of the 86 times I've fueled up since December 2003 -- I've had four 300+ mile runs: 305, 306, 309 and (tada) 320 -- a New England weekend run to Maine last fall, driving specifically to conserve - at $2.039 per gallon.

Who knew last year would be "the good old days".

Cheers,
Oranje

I've had good success pegging the cruise to 68-70 mph or 3500 rpm.

Obsessed much? lol. I was thinking you had the dates of your 300 mile runs logged in your memory but you probably have a spreadsheet full of numbers like most of (us?) geeks in here.
