Milage on new car when purchased
Milage on new car when purchased
How many miles did your car have on it when you purchased it new. Have been to several dealers in Tampa and some of these cars have over 200 miles on them. I know they demo cars but come on why can't they just use two cars to demo, not their whole fleet. I am not going to buy a new car with anything over ten miles on it. And by the way, to please all I did a search with milage and got back 13 pages worth. Sorry but I am not going to spend all night trying to find if this has already been posted. If it has, then lets hear from new people that have recently bought a car.
Bought an 04 in March with 421 miles....Yea, I know, kinda scary as I'm not sure 'how' it was driven during this break-in period. I've go 1,400 on it now with absolutely no problems or complaints of any kind.

I know, I was surprised too...
My car was parked like it was just deliverd by truck. It was by the fense in the back with a bunch of 05's (the dealership I went two still had a few 04's at the time) so I agree, I was surprsied too.
That means no one test drove it before me or moved it much AT ALL since leaving Japan...COOL....

200 mle seems high for a car classified as dealer " new "
Six Kilometers on mine, off the delivery truck and in my hands very quickly back in October 2004. What is the reply, when asked why would 200 + miles be on a dealer " new " car?.
If it has more than 25 miles on it, I think a discount is in order. You should be able to find one with less than 10 miles on it if you shop around. In reality, if you can save a couple hundred bucks because the car has a few extra miles on it, it's not going to matter that much in a year when there are 10-15k on it.
500ish on mine when purchased. They had it for four months prior to purshase. It had exactly the options I wanted, and I was moving shortly thereafter. No others on island that even came close to my liking. And Yes, a discount was incorporated in my offer.
