Does anyone have any advice on how to do this. Right now my car has the ms spoiler borla exhaust and kn intake. I bought mine stock a/t and i want to get a stock m/t or a touring m/t. Should i take off my exhaust and intake and put the stock ones back on before i bring it in to show them. Should i keep the ms spoiler on? Also how much do u think i will lose off this if i do it? I know someone in maryland just did it can u give me any advice?

you know what, i'm looking at doing the same thing. Really not feeling the advantages of the auto, and i need more power.

i have a AT with the GT package, want to trade it in for the same thing only MT.

You're going to get next to nothing for the addons from the dealer. Return to the stock spoiler, intake, and exhaust before getting a tradein estimate. I'm not sure the dealer would give you _anything_ extra for them, let alone nearly what it would cost to replace them.

 

Well when I had my 00 Eclipse with a $3K Kenwood sound system in that bad boy they sales man said no way. So I took it all out that day then went back LOL!!!

 

I eventually plan on trading up to the manual too--but I'm going to wait a few years to see what comes down the RX8 pipeline--SMG, 5spd Auto, Mazdaspeed--we'll see.

 

You're gonna lose out big on any trade in, whether it's now or when mazdaspeed comes out. I'd keep what you have, and get some good use out of it, and just wait for the mazdaspeed to come out. Even my MT doesn't have enough power for me, so I'm patiently waiting for the mazdaspeed, but am ready to lose a lot of money in doing so. Good luck!!

I just put Michilin Pilot Sport PS2's on it. 245/40-18's Very nice upgrade from the RE-40's.

CZ1 piggyback, otherwise stock. I have not installed the RE Amemia bumper b/c it has not yet arrived. I will probably keep it for my next RX-8. Cloth seats, no Navi system.

 

I'm watching my AT's value plummet before my eyes. Oh well. Guess I'm keeping it... somehow, that's okay -- I'll wait for the RX-7 to get the MT.

 

Traded my A/T 8 in on a Z after 6 months and took over a $5K hit (after a lot of searching). The Mazda dealership that I bought it from actually purchased it back from the Nizzan dealership I traded at.

I actually had a difficult time finding a dealership that would take it. One Mazda & Nissan dealership only offered $23K for it (A/T with GT & appearance package).
