I think that my catalytic converter is gone. There is no cell, power and performance is very good. However, I am able to hear a metallic sound (specific revs) from exhaust when the car is warm. So either some heat shield has been detached or my catalytic converter has been broken and I am able to hear the pieces across the exhaust.

What do you think?

No, it happens! Good thing even if your car is out of base warranty the cat has an 8/80,000 mile warranty.

 

This thread is probably dead, but I have a 2004 and it's doing the same thing after it warms up. Did you find what the problem was? It's driving me crazy!
