The Mercy of Mazsport Scott
Anyone in here ever order something from Mazsport,
and want it NOW! Scott and Sarah have been so helpful answering my questions,
but I wish he could make type-3's w/ a magic wand! I'm getting anxious,
and I already took my car apart...
Haha, I'm not bashing mazsport (AT ALL)just to make it clear, I'm just being anxious and, hate being at the mercy of Scott...

I Just took off the air pump, Battery Box, Washer Reservoir, and some of the charge tubes. just the things that wouldn't be going back on the car. Scott said the first box would ship out this week.

Did JPR Install his turbo?
I remember Jim telling me about a Type 1 he just did...
He really liked it a lot, and I'm sure it's worth the wait.
I just figured I'd share my anxious-ness w/ you guys.
Since I never post... ever

I get that a lot, but I know Scott is trying his best to get my kit done, He's very honest w/ me about everything, and keeps me updated frequently. He also doesn't seem to mind my call every day around 5 O'clock habit. which is always good thing.
I'm anxious to get that first box... Christmas comes in August.
Am I allowed to post that on here?

Fox: yes you are.
Mazsport has prices listed on their website and they are a forum vendor so I'm just wondering if the prices have changed.

OP, some advice.......go out and buy a good, fat book to read and a case of booze to drink. By the time both are finished you will get ur parts (considering you have a job and cant read/drink all day long!)

I'm in North Jersey in Lyndhurst. I have the Type 1 kit.
A couple clarifications on the wait:
Your first box might arive in a week. You might open it up and have some couplers, injectors, maybe some other components. Mazsport doesn't really have all the custom fab stuff built and on a shelf. They will be ordering the stock to make your charge pipes and manifold and fuel pump. They might not have a turbo in stock so that has to be ordered. Even if all that crap is ordered instantaneously, who knows how long it'll take the vendors for the materials to ship. Then, when everything finally gets to Mazsport, they build your kit along with umpteen other things that people are waiting on. It's not really when you get your first box of parts - it's when you get your last. I would guestimate the overunder to be 3 months. That's how long it took for mine. Is that good? Bad? I don't know. I was in a group buy for hood dampeners that also took 3 months. I guess it's related to what your personal clock is like. Sure, the anticipation eats away at you but in the long run, it's not that long for a made to order kit. Then comes installation. JPR did my kit so yours should be a faster install. Moving the turbo from off the manifold to infront of the engine isn't going to be a big deal. Then you get the car and you're like - holy crap this thing is much faster. The truth is, though, that it isn't even close to full power. Then, you go do some tuning and it gets much faster.
So, given the option, I'd do it all again. I'm very happy with my car and I've been driving the snot out of it (4500 miles + so far).

Thanks this helped me a lot, I've never talked to anyone who has a Mazsport kit. Jim told me about you though. I don't doubt Scott, and his guys down at Mazsport I know they work extremely hard. My turbo is already in, and Ceramic Coated, and my manifold is done w/ Ceramic coating as well. I don't wanna call because Sarah is sick, and I'm being a royal P.I.T.A
I do hope she calls today and has some good news.
