The first rx-8 I saw on the road other than my own had a girl driving. Since then I have not seen a girl in one.

It's been about half and half from what I've seen.

Oh, and about half the people I've seen driving Oldsmobiles are women. I'm afraid that it might get known as a chick car.

(But seriously, I knew from first glance that the RX-8 probably would be popular with women drivers, and it doesn't bother me a bit.)

I have noticed the majority of RX-8 drivers around here seem to be rich little daddy's girls. High school or college aged. Front wheels always caked with brake dust, car not washed and probably full of fast food trash. I cringe just thinking about it. There is no way these cars are getting the attention they need such as checking oil, latest flash, etc.

Seein as how I almost never see any 8's around here I could not say. I know from the forums that there is one female owner in my area, but the only other 8 I have seen on the road since I have gotten mine was another helmet in control.

I see a lot of chick 8 drivers on the road, but I'm one of four in the metroplex that actually attends meetings. And I'm proud to say that I don't fall into your description. :D

I'm sure the ratio on the forum is nowhere near the real world numbers. I'd say 1/4 of the 8's I've seen around here are piloted by women and no "rich little daddy's girls" among them.

Lets admit...there are some cars out there that are just chick cars...Several years ago I mentioned to my wife that I was interested in the small Mercedes two seater and she said that was a women's car and you know...that is all I ever see in the car. Don't have a problem with women driving the car and I'm glad there is a mix.

i have actually seen a good handful of chicks in the 8.. not a whole bunch, but 3 in the just the last week... seems like chicks like the small and "cute" look of the car... my gf said that about it and said it looks better on a girl than like an 350z..

hmm i guess it is my area. most of the girls i see in rx8 arent really girls.. more like middle aged women. 30s-40s? I've been seeing alot more 8's in my area too like almost 1 or 2 a weeks (which isn't alot but it is compared to once a month).
