Mazdaspeed3 wtfpwns RX8 on performance. wtf?
So... got to test drive a MS3. All i can say is wtf?

Where the hell is our MS8 so that we can be king of the road again?

Go drive it. Near 300hp, wtf?

Hell, piggypack ECU actually dynoing stock +75tq and +65hp.

We gotta spend gazzilions to get that.

Im not considering buying it, just ranting. It was for my girlfriend.

The MS3 has no where the grip of the RX8 or the fun of being a RWD sports car.

Its a really good car but, FWD kills it for me.

Sorry but the RX8 has never been king of the road - there are tons of cars faster in a straight line but there so much more to enjoybale driving than straight line speed or HP. Plus who wants to drive a compact car (whihc IMHO is about all the MS3 is) - even if it is fast

Before you start drooling over the MS3, check out the dyno chart. 3,000 rpm range doesn't make for a good powerband.

I've attached my rx8 dyno (275 whp peak) so you can compare. The red line indicates 200 whp.

the MS3 might be a nice ride, but it's a FWD boyracer hatchback. An SRT-4 is still faster and cheaper at any rate....
But the 8 is a true sports machine- RWD, low weight, and designed as a sports car. Not some hotrodded hatch.
There is no MS8 and there never will be, please give it up
