So I was just at a local dealer talking to the head of the service department about some stuff. When I mentioned possibly putting the Mazdaspeed suspension on my car he said, "Why not just wait until next year and buy the Mazdaspeed 8; and you'll get another 100 horsepower!!"

I laughed. He looked mildly offended.

"That's what I've been told" was his response.

with all the crap mazda has been taking from you you guys (generally speaking) in regards to poor fuel economy, the last thing they're going to do is boost the hp by an additional 100 horses.

I have about that, and I get ~15 mpg now instead of 18.
