hello everyone i was just looking for information of what warrenty i should have in the uk, im the owner of a late 2005 black rx8 and in the last two weeks my cel light came on i got the fault code as p0420 which is somethin to do with the cat im assuming the fault reader said P0420 Catalyst system efficiency below threshold ON 2 Catalyst ´, is the cat or the o2 sensors, cos the car is running like **** now really rough loud and a low rumble from the exhaust, and it doesnt start as well as it used to,
does anyone know if im still covered in the uk warrenty i wasnt sure if it was extended here as in the us or not, and if not any advice on mending the problem myself?
any information would be great

 

only the US have an 8 yr 100,000 mile warranty. If you bought the car private then i'm afraid to say your on your own, if you bought it relatively new from a dealer then you can chase them up to sort it out if it is within the 3 month period or within a warranty that they've provided.
