I tried searching, but I couldn't find an answer.

Got a Mazda car cover for Christmas, and I know it has a tight fit.

My question is, how clean does the car need to be before putting the cover on, I don't want to scratch my baby, but I'd like to have her covered.

A second question what do you do when it rains/snows, do you need to remove the cover to dry, or do you leave it on??

New to this whole car cover thing.

Leave the cover in the box. Give it to someone else next year.
Unless the car is perfectly clean, the cover is perfectly clean you WILL scratch the paint.
Then if the cover is not weather proof. meaning dust and water can pass through the fibers it will scratch the paint anyway.
