Has anyone paid attention to the 07/08 warranty? 3yr/36K? I for one look at the warranty before making such a purchase. Have they gone in the hole on warranty issues or lost faith in their products?

 

Lost faith in the RX8.

I think their other models are still 4yrs.

 

Oh well ... another reason to not get another ...

ALL Mazdas for 07-08 model years carry a 3 year/36k miles bumper to bumper, along with a 5 year/60k miles powertrain warranty.

 

Blame Ford.

 

blame ford for what? they extended powertrain warranty. thats pretty similar compared to other makes....

 

Personally, I don't care all that much. I plan to have my warranty voided before the end of the second year

Well, looks like the lease is going back. Thought about a CTS-V... or Audi A8.

 

All Mazda models are 3/36k.... not just the RX8. Wasn't sales for 2007 models down? I wonder how this will effect future sales on all models of Mazda's when most other Mfg's are now advertising 7yr, 10 yr & toyota's lifetime warranty which I have yet to find any detailed information on this lifetime warranty. Despite the fact that they are all "limited warranty".
