First time I changed oil in the 8, put in about 1qt and the dip stick is showing full.
Is that the max capacity?
I searched in the forum and the only thing I could find was a how to put in oil tutorial or something like that that said 3.8qt I'm sorry if this is a repetitive question, or if its stupid. But I don't know?

 

it definitely uses more than one quart. there is more than that in the oil coolers alone. i typically use 4 quarts per oil change - Buy the 5 quart jug and use the rest to replace what you burn.

 

4.5 qts if jack up the driver side.

 

Thanks for the help guys, there some something messed up with the dip stick it had like a dark *** line going through it and I thought it was full, I ended up putting 4qts tho
