Im new to the RX8 forum and purposely joined to have your guys help with buying my RX8. Story is mom is getting a MX9 so im going to get a deal hopefully on a RX8 when she buys hers.

(Year 04-05 models)
Questions are:

What is the car like stock? How fast can it go?

Is the exhaust system good? Or is replacing it with a better set worth it?

Does adding a turbo make you cry with joy?

Does adding a new CPU chip offer alot of performance upgrade?

Does adding a air intake system like a Cold Air Intake add alot of Ummfff?

Would really appreciate your help and suggestions :D

If speed and torque is what you're looking for, this isn't the car for you. Let alone the gas cost.

Upgrading the exhaust can help. I got about 10 ummffs from a midpipe alone.

2. Supercat or Hi flow cat. Race pipe, exhaust (RACINGBEAT,HKS,TURBOXS.BORLA)
   
3. Cold Air Intake (AEM,MAZDASPEED,) or a short ram intake (K&N,INJEN,HKS,SR MOTORSPORTS, RACING BEAT REVI RAM INTAKE) with the RACING BEAT DUCT.
   
4. COBB ACCESSPORT
   
5. BLACK HALO RACING IGNITION UPGRADE
   
6. A.S.S SHORT SHIFTER? lol? whats it again
   
7. HAWK brake Pads.
   
8. Coil Over suspension
   
9. sway bars, end links, cross bars, strut bars,
