Quite lovely, thanks for asking. I just started using the seat warmers the other day, and they are wonderful. I love this car. I just wish I could spend more time in it. Managed to get my second tank of crappy mpg this week- I've got a quarter tank left and I've only gone 180 miles. Oh well. That's what I get for spending all my time in stop and go traffic.

Is yours treating you as well as mine's treating me?

Elara - Good good. Unfortunately I did not get the lux of having seat warmers, but I do enjoy having a car that builds up heat very quickly ( as cool air with the AC ). My last car always took its time to get warm/cool.
Its great on the way home from work to sit in silence and have those rotary engine sounds....:-)

The mpg does not bother me as much as it used to, could be worse...the mpg does seem to be improving though.

Right, seems the guys are out numbering the gals......seems about right from Mazdas facts.

As much as I'd like to claim it as my real name, it's not- I do a lot of gaming on the internet (Diablo, etc) and run a text-based MUD. And my name in all of those, and on every BB and forum I'm on, is Elara.

It's actually a moon of Jupiter, and I thought it was pretty.

8_wannabe - I usually make it to 250-270, at least, before my gas light comes on. This time, I think it's going to be about 200. I've been reving a lot, and I've accidently driven a few miles 40 in second gear. Kinda eats the gas, but the darn car is so quiet and smooth, if I've got the stereo turned up and I'm not looking at the spedometer, I can't tell what gear I'm in.

Proud to be a minority.

Looked at a G35C before purchasing the RX-8. Have you noticed their brochure? Maybe two pictures of the car, the rest of sultry females in negligees -- in bedrooms? Hellooo. While the RX-8 is probably a guy car, at least Mazda has some integrity.

Guy car or no, I love driving it.

Another one of the minority chiming in...

So I guess I drive a "guy car"? That's okay... my other toy is definitely a "Chick car", apparently. (Don't tell that to the guys on Miataforum, though.)

Which brings up an interesting point: You could conduct this poll on just about any automotive-related board and get the same male-skewed results. Women are more likely to be found browsing the recipe and scrapbooking forums, doncha think?

..well mazda certainly said it with their comercial - RX8 hugging that fella....then the BMW series 5 commercial with the gal pretending to drive...and now the G35 with sultry females. It would be be nice to see more female owners/drivers..regardless. Around this area the Audi TT and Z seem to be alittle more popular.
