First question What do they mean whe you straight pipe a vehicle??
Is it a straight pipe comming back from the headers?? Or are there No headers, just a straight pipe from where the headers would go in a normal car, out to the back of the car??

Do companies make straight pipes like greddy etc or do you just have a exhaust guy do it.


Is Straight piping a rx8 good?? What does it sound like, How much HP can you achieve??


2nd Question: Whats a Header back exhaust?? is it a exhaust that goes from the header back without a cat?? or is there no headers just exhaust pipe??

Also If you take out a cat in a catback exhaust, do you have to get a seperate pipe to connect the header and the exhaust

What exhaust adds the most hp to a rx8
which sounds the loudest / nicest

1. Straight pipe replaces cat (mid pipe)
2. Yes you can buy a "mid pipe".
3. Sounds really loud, not much HP gain
4. Cat back exaust HP gains are minimal, no matter what brand
5. Only header I know of is OBX
6. Type exausts in the search box for further info
7. Just so you know, your 2 questions are accually about 30....
