Loose seat
Whenever I sit down in my car and adjust my body to get in a good position to drive, my seat is squeaking a majority of the time. Not a loud squeak, but a short high pitched couple ones... anyone else had this problem? I had mazda check to see if my seat was loose and they said it wasnt... any suggestions?

I remember reading a few posts about a noisy/squeaky seat. Does the seat actually move, or is it just a creaking noise?
Leather or cloth?
I've got leather and havnt really noticed any problems with the seat except that sometimes I wish the rear head/neck brace area was adjustable.

My driver seat squeeks like an old worn-out couch when I get in the car and when I go around turns. It is driving me crazy! There are other threads on this topic. I just had mine in the shop and of course when I came to pick it up they told me they couldn't find the source of the noise. I have been driving the car for only one month. I will get it fixed or they will replace the seat! Let me know how you make out. Good luck.

Yep. I thought it was a clock spring in the steering, because it happens every time I turn a corner, but then I noticed it getting into the car. A few wiggles later, I discovered it was a creaky seat.
No attempted fix yet.
